Our annual Christmas Parade was established in 2018 to bring the community together to celebrate the joy of the season! The Christmas Festival is held annually on the first Saturday in December. The event is held in downtown Sebring, Ohio with a great lineup of events for everyone to enjoy in! ALL EVENTS ARE FREE!!
After much deliberation and discussion, it is with great sadness we have to announce that the 3rd Annual Christmas Parade has been canceled this year due to the pandemic. We’re excited to organize a ‘Light Up the Town’ contest and tour in place of the traditional parade.
“Light Up the Town” will be a self-guided tour and contest of lights and decorations at homes and businesses throughout the Village of Sebring. Residents and businesses are encouraged to decorate their properties with creative Christmas light displays whether they are large or small.
The contest will be limited to the Village of Sebring and cash prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded. Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street. Official entries will be included on a map posted online December 5th at www.sebringbusinessassociations.com . The lists will also be available at the Christmas Tree Lighting and the arrival Santa downtown on Dec. 5th beginning at 4pm! (More information to come concerning Santa and the tree lighting!)
Due to the coronavirus we will not be holding a Gingerbread House Decorating Contest. We will be back for 2021.

Before the parade beginning at 4:00 PM various activities will begin downtown including face painting, Christmas carols, ornament decorating, letters to Santa, crafts, shopping and other activities by local businesses and organizations. Holiday treats and refreshments will also be available too.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6:15 PM at Harvest Park downtown. Join us for a great way to kick off the holiday season by watching Downtown Sebring illuminate into a winter wonderland!

Following the Tree Lighting Ceremony the parade will kick off running from Pennsylvania Ave. to Indiana Ave. Line up for the parade will take place at the Sebring Courthouse starting at 4:00 PM. Anybody is welcome to join us in celebrating the holiday season. Pre registration is available or just show up that day! Judging will take place beginning promptly at 5:45 PM and the winners will announced at the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The Winter Wonderland Party follows the parade and invites everyone to come back to Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home to the Community Room to enjoy holiday treats, crafts and get FREE pictures with Santa! This is an event you definitely do not want to miss out on!
